As the release date of June 14 approaches for ‘Kotee,’ the team led by Paramesh Gundkal is keeping the film in the news at regular intervals. So far, a dozen reports have appeared in the media related to ‘Kotee,’ showcasing the brilliance of journalist-turned-channel head and director Param. He knows how to generate consistent publicity for his film.
The Daali Dhananjaya starrer ‘Kotee’ has now been released on the Saregama Kannada YouTube channel. Dhananjaya plays the role of an ordinary driver named ‘Kotee,’ who aims to take care of his family by earning one crore rupees without cheating or hurting anyone. This movie, which narrates Kotee’s journey, will be released on June 14.
Dhananjaya’s portrayal of a common man, Ramesh Indira’s depiction of a notorious villain, Tara’s role as a mother, high-quality visuals, a memorable background score, and a tiger costume – all these elements captured the crowd’s attention at the trailer release event held on Wednesday evening.
Lead actor Daali Dhananjaya said, “It’s a story of a middle-class common man. It’s a family entertainer that connects with everyone.”
Speaking at the trailer launch event, director Param said, “This is a commercial movie with content. Good story, good entertainment guaranteed.”
‘Kotee,’ a true Kannada soil story, is already creating buzz with its teasers and songs. ‘Koti’ is seen as a promise of victory for the Kannada industry, which has been in a state of disarray without any significant hits in the first half of the year.
‘Kotee’ stars Moksha Kushal as the heroine alongside Daali Dhananjaya, with Ramesh Indira as the villain. Other senior actors like Rangayana Raghu, Tara, Sardar Satya, Prithvi Shamanur, Tanuja Venkatesh, Abhishek Srikanth, Vijay Shobharaj Paoor, and others are part of the cast.
The film features five songs composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, with lyrics by Yogaraj Bhatt and Vasuki Vaibhav. Nobin Paul, known for his work on 777 Charlie, is responsible for the background music. Prateek Shetty, praised for his work in the movie Kantara, is the editor of ‘Kotee,’ while renowned television cinematographer Arun is the cameraman for this movie.
Produced by Jio Studios, the film is written and directed by Param, who led Colors Kannada for decades.
