In anticipation of the June 14 release of the Kannada film “Kotee,” a grand pre-release event was held as a TV show, featuring Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeep as a key participant. Titled “Kotee Manaranjane,” the program included appearances by actress Moksha Kushal, veteran stars Tara Anuradha, Rangayana Raghu, Ramesh Indira, Sardar Sathya, and “Kotee” hero Daali Dhananjaya.
The crowd cheered and whistled at Kichcha Sudeep’s entry, which was marked by brilliant lighting and choreography. Sudeep was on stage for more than an hour, entertaining the crowd with his witty speeches. The banter between narrator Akul Balaji and Sudeep had the audience in stitches. Sudeep unveiled a new poster for the film and wished the team great success.
The dance performance by “Kotee” heroine Moksha received a great response from the audience. There were special dance routines by other actors and actresses from “Kotee,” and a hilarious comedy show by the Gichi Gili Gili troupe.
One of the main attractions of “Kotee Manaranjane” was a special dance performance by children for Dhananjaya. He admired the children’s dance, joined them on stage, and took a selfie with them.
Vasuki Vaibhav, the music composer for the film, sang songs from “Kotee.” Lyricist Yogaraj Bhat, who wrote the lyrics for the songs, said, “Whoever works hard for the people of Kannada, the people make it a grand success.”
Param, who led the Colors Kannada channel for decades, was honored by the staff of the channel through a special video. He became emotional after seeing a picture of his village in the video. Chandan Shetty, Nivedita Gowda, Vijay Surya, Rakshit, Shine Shetty, Mayuri, Ankita Amar, Neha Gowda, and Akul Balaji, all of whom found success through Colors Kannada, wished their mentor Param all the best in his new journey.
Already generating buzz through posters, teasers, and songs, “Kotee” is showing all the signs of being a major hit for the second half of the Kannada film industry.
The program “Kotee Manaranjane” will be aired on the Colors Kannada channel on June 2 at 7:30 PM. Produced by Jio Studios, the movie “Kotee” will be released in theaters on June 14.
