In the upcoming romantic film “Megha,” the enchanting duo, portrayed by Kiran Raj and Kajal Kunder, promises a unique love story experience. The film, helmed by the talented director Charan, unveils the screen names ‘Megha’ for the lead actors, Kiran Raj and Kajal Kunder.

The teaser for “Megha” was unveiled by the renowned lyricist, actor, and director Dr. V Nagendra Prasad during a special event at Goldfinch Hotel in Bengaluru on a Tuesday evening.

Having transitioned from my role as an IT employee post-COVID-19, I embarked on a filmmaking journey under the guidance of Dr. V. Nagendraprasad. “Megha” marks my directorial debut, inspired by the constant movement of clouds in the sky, yet rain falling in different places. Keeping this concept in mind, I crafted a love story, where “Megha” symbolizes love. Kiran Raj and Kajal Kunder portray the lead roles, supported by seasoned artists like Rajesh Natarang. Love, friendship, and sentiment are interwoven into the fabric of this movie, accompanied by five melodious songs composed by Joel Sakkari. Two songs were penned by my mentor, Dr. V Nagendra Prasad, while I wrote the remaining three. Comedy actor Taranga Vishwa has lent his voice to a song in this film, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Producer Yatish HR expressed his pride in producing “Megha” under Krishi Productions, guided by producers MG Ramamurthy and Trivikrama Safalya. The film was created with passion and style, with investments from friends who shared the vision, according to producer Yatish.

In an unprecedented role, I feature in “Megha,” a love story that captivates emotions despite being different from my previous roles. Actor Kiran Raj attests that the film caters to the needs of the present generation with its diverse elements.

Kajal Kunder, under the screen name Kajal, the female lead in “Megha,” describes the film as a slice of life and hopes for the necessary support for its compelling story.

In a brief appearance, Srividya expressed gratitude for her minor role, while producer Trivikrama Saphalya wished the film a successful 100-day screening.

The film’s cinematographer and editor, Gautam Nayak, also graced the media briefing.
