Loose Maada Yogesh has now become Karunada Sultan Yogesh. The title of Yogesh’s 50th film “King” was unveiled by Sandalwood King Dr. Shivaraj Kumar. The film is being directed for the first time by Jack, and is jointly produced by Mahender, Siddhesh, Santosh Basavaraj, Vishal Prasad, and Mallikarjun Swamy.

The teaser has been prepared in Kannada along with Telugu and Tamil, and the team is gearing up to begin shooting within the next month. Actor Yogesh appears in a never-seen-before look.

Actor Dr. Shivaraj Kumar said that “King” is not just a blood-soaked chapter but also has emotion. The film Om created a new record at Kapali theatre, and films like Jogi also saw success there. Yogesh’s Nanda Loves Nanditha was also successful. Hence, he has special affection for Kapali theatre. He said he is a big admirer of Yogesh’s acting. He recalled that Yogesh acted with Appu in Hudugaru and is also acting alongside him. He wished him wholeheartedly, saying he is a good actor and should succeed.

Actor Yogesh said, “Until now it was one calculation, from now it is another. I have corrected my mistakes. ‘King’ is the 50th film of my career. I will be seen in a different look in the film. I was thrilled when director Jack narrated the story. I was shocked for a moment when I heard the budget. At such a time, the producers came forward. We will deliver a film that everyone will like. I have taken the teaser shot five times.”

“I became a hero at a young age. I have seen both failure and success. I am ready to bounce back again. ‘King’ will support that. Initially, we decided to make the film only in Kannada. Later, it will also be made in Telugu and Tamil. I have been silent so far; hereafter, I will share updates about new projects,” he informed.

Director Jack said that the film is being made in Kannada along with Telugu and Tamil. The film features artists from Bollywood as well as Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam industries. While developing the story, he felt that Yogesh should act in it, narrated the story to him, and is now making the film. It is a big-budget film. Rather than focusing on Kannada or Tamil nativity, they aim to make it an Indian film, he said.

The team plans to shoot the film in Mangaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, and various other locations. He said he admired Yogesh’s acting after watching Ambari. The film is not just about action but also attempts to tell an emotional, tearful story, which has been shown in the teaser. Further details, including the remaining cast, will be announced in the coming days.

Actor Pratap Narayan said he is playing the role of a tough police officer. The teaser has created curiosity, and he is looking forward to acting in the film.

Music director Shashank Sheshagiri said that through “King,” they are attempting to narrate a tearful story. Currently, the film has three songs. He shared that this is an experimental film.

Producers Santosh Basavaraj and Mallikarjun shared information about the film. Senior producer T.P. Siddaraj, Bhama Harish, Krishnegowda, and many members of the film team were present on the occasion.
