The Kannada Film Producers Association headed by Umesh Banakar held a meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday and highlighted the need of the industry today.
CM Siddaramaiah gave a patient hearing on issues like theater problems, Film City, Piracy, subsidy topic, state awards etc and invited for a detailed discussion on July 10 to sort out the issues.
Former KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu, KFPA secretary Praveen Kumar, producer MG Ramamurthy, NM Suresh and others accompanied Umesh Banakar in the meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
The positive response of the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has given room for a lot of hopes for KFI in the coming days.
