Renowned actor and producer Gowrishankar has demonstrated his knack for capturing attention for his film ‘Kere Bete.’ True to the essence of the title, ‘Kere Bete,’ Gowrishankar arranged a promotional event at a ‘Kere’ (pond) in the outskirts of Bengaluru’s Mallathahalli.
On Wednesday morning, around 11 am, the well-known actor Daali Dhananjaya and acclaimed director Dinakar Thoogudeepa graced the trailer launch event. The chief guests, along with other significant figures present, added an interesting touch to the occasion. As part of the festivities, Gowrishankar treated the attendees to a ‘Fish Curry’ meal in the afternoon. Esteemed directors Pawan Wodeyar, Guru Deshpande, and Jadesh were among the distinguished guests at this gathering.
The ‘Kere Bete’ event showcased the diversity within the Kannada film industry, proving that there is no shortage of variety. The film has already garnered significant attention for its first look and teaser.
This cinematic venture set against a rustic backdrop features Gowrishankar, known for his roles in Jokali and Rajahamsa Kannada films. Making his directorial debut is Raj Guru.
Daali Dhananjaya expressed, “For films rooted in our land, there is no defeat at the box office. ‘Kere Bete’ is a reflection of our land and culture.” Dinakar Thoogudeepa, who has known Gowrishankar for a considerable period, affirmed that he has already seen the film, deeming it excellent and destined for success at the box office.
Director Raj Guru shared his close connection with ‘Kere Bete’ in the Malnad region, emphasizing that making a film was his dream. He called for effective promotion of the film.
Bindu plays the female lead opposite protagonist Gowrishankar, with Sampath, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Harini, and others rounding out the cast.
Gowri Shankar’s mass appeal suits the film perfectly, promising another blockbuster. Jai Shankar Patel serves as the producer for this authentic village-based narrative.
The technical team includes Keerthan Poojari for cinematography, Gagan Baderia for music, Gnanesh for editing, Different Danny for stunts, and Kambiraju for dance.
