“Kallu Hodeyo, Glass Pudi Maduva, small time rowdies tale” is Kenda. The working class of ten years ago is brought to the silver screen. Producer Roopa Rao explains the contents of the Kannada film “Kenda,” which has already garnered a good audience.

Roopa Rao, known for “Gantu Moote,” recalled forming her production house in 2018. She credits Sahadev’s support in grooming Ameyukthi Production House. After working on “Asmin,” she and her 12-year-long friend Sahadev carved out an interesting subject through two years of study. The result is “Kenda” – there is a fire in everyone that bursts out according to the given situation. The life of Keshava exemplifies this, as mentioned by Roopa Rao. She is working on a strategy to keep audiences in theaters for a few days. The film “Kenda” is set for release on July 26 in nearly 40 plus theaters. Meeting the needs of cinema halls is crucial; they need theaters with 100-seat capacities while multiplex screens have 200 plus seats. From a reach point of view, keeping the cash registers ringing for the first few days is a struggle, she admits.

At the outset, the life of Keshava is universal in content, seen from the working class’s perspective. The effort of this film has already gathered attention at shows in New York and Switzerland, says talented and tall director Sahadeva Kelavadi.

The film has already been released at international film festivals and has received several awards, leaving an impression on an international level.

Veteran theater artist Vinod Ravindran launched the trailer of “Kenda,” and the film team shared some amazing ideas about it.

The story follows a young man who works in garments and falls under the spell of circumstances. It does not revolve around ready formulas. How is it possible to see burning cruelty with a sensitive inner eye?

Pranav Sridhar, veteran theater artist Vinod Ravindran, Satish, Prithvi, Deepti, and others were present at the trailer launch event.

Rithvik Kaykini, son of popular writer Jayanth Kaikini, composed the songs, and the film is edited by Pradeep Naik, with art direction by Laxmikant Joshi.

The cast includes Vinod Sushil, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Sachin Srinath, Bindu Rakshidi, Sarath Gowda, Satish Kumar, Archana Shyam, Prithvi Banavasi, Deepti Nagendra, Rekha Kudligi, Prabhakar Joshi, and others.
