The film ‘Kenda’, produced by the team of ‘Gantumoote’, has progressed gradually with curiosity. Now ‘Kenda’ stands on the threshold of release. At this time, the launch program of the lyrical video song composed for the first time by Rithvik Kaikani for the song “Taja Taja,” with the lyrics of his father esteemed writer Jayant Kaikani, was held grandly at SRV Theater.

Noted director and writer Yogaraja Bhat, Ace music Composer V. Harikrishna, Shailaja Nag of Media House, D Beats, and Jayant Kaikani were present to wish the team.

Rupa Rao is the producer of the film Kenda. Sahadeva Kelavadi is also involved in production along with cinematography and direction.

Vikata Kavi Yogaraja Bhat said that friendship with Rithvik Kaikani started during the second lockdown. In the current situation, when a movie is released without a song, it faces a double risk. In the bathroom, the thought that the world is hearing my song, and when one comes out, no one recognizes it – it is like a dream. In today’s scenario, the struggle of one year does not count because the audience questions what is next. The urge builds up then for giving something unique next time. Making the audience look back at us is also a tough task. Amid failure and success, one has to live in this world. Yet when the writer’s work wins, it gives immense happiness. Yogaraj Bhat congratulated the new music composer Rithwik for his debut in his address.

As there are so many songs in the market, finding our song among hundreds of songs can be a challenging task. It is the wish of every music director that our song should be recognized among them. A writer’s hard work is rewarding. When you lose, the responsibility increases. Three of the songs in this do not have any musical tinge. It is the first win of the same team. Listening to it is something new. May your innovative endeavor be successful, said V. Harikrishna.

Shailaja Nag says that there is hard work behind every movie. Any producer invests for return. This is also a business. We need to make our image recognizable among other languages, mentioned Shailaja Nag, noted producer of Media House.

Sometimes while writing a song, this line came somewhere, and I put it aside. Then I will know when I write it myself. As technology changes, one doesn’t listen to the original song. Listen to only four lines. This puts a lot of responsibility and challenge on art. Congratulations to the team for this. I am glad the son did what he liked. When the director asks me to write a song, I write my song as a hit. The song will be part of the narrative of the film. Jayant Kaykini said that such new-generation films should reach the people.

A disillusioned youth group in a metropolis like Bangalore and some social elements in the film, including politics and crime, depict how the protagonist, who was working in a factory, gets into the labyrinth of this system. He is used by vested interests. Situations are shown in which direction a decision of that moment will lead his life. Overall, it looks like it will be a different film for this day.

BV Bharath is the protagonist, Pranavsreedhar, Vinodravindran, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, and many other theater talents have been selected for this film. Shreyas Nanjappa, who was part of the Oscar-winning film Elephant Whispers, has composed the sound. The shoot for the film ‘Kenda’ was held at Kolar and Bengaluru.
