Director Jogi Prem is always known for catching the attention of the mass audience. For his latest venture KD a la Kaalidasa, featuring action prince Dhruva Sarja and Reeshma Nanaiah, he has picked a few very common and popular words for the peppy song ‘Settagalla Hoge Nangu Ningu…’

The lyrical video of this song was released a day before the Ugadi festival at Orion Mall. The specialty of this song is not only its lyrics but also that the hook steps will be chosen by the audience. The best hook step will be picked for the song shooting, which is taking place in Amsterdam. The best one sent will be honored at the audio launch event, says director Prem, brimming with happiness.

“I will not further delay the release of the film. It will be in the month of August this year,” he promises and also declares that all the work related to the film has been completed. “Only this ‘Settagalla Hoge Nangu Ningu…’ is left to shoot,” he says. KD has an emotional storyline, and that rests on the shoulders of protagonist Dhruva Sarja. Shooting with a 70s and 80s backdrop is not easy. “It is only for this ‘Settagalla Nange…’ that we are shooting at a live location in Amsterdam. We have seen the similarity of the period that the cinema portrays. Besides this, we have many sets for shooting this film,” says director Prem.

He richly lauded the support of KVN Productions and politely questioned why producer Venkatnarayan is not attending the publicity meets. Supreeth of KVN, speaking on behalf of the producer, said that he would bring in producer KVN for the audio release of this film.

Director Prem thanked Arjun Janya immensely for making a terrific effort on the film’s audio. When the lyrics were ready, it was Anand Audio’s Shyam who suggested the participation of the audience for the hook steps, and that is another key point for success, feels Prem.

The song penned by Prem ‘Settagalla Nange Ninge…’, scored by century films music composer Arjun Janya, traveled to various places for recording, making it very expensive. He has roped in Mika Singh for this song and recorded it in various languages of the film.

Magical composer Arjun Janya remembered that while cooking atop his house, he came up with this song’s tune. “But composing for this film was like a divine process for me,” he says.

Dhruva Sarja thanks his innumerable fans for making the first song on Shiva a very big hit. Over 40 million views and 6 lakh reels make him happy. “It is only the passion and fashion of the team that are important. The real hero of this film is director Prem,” he says.

Rishma Nanaiah says, “Dhruv is also a fine dancer, and I have to be very cautious while dancing.”

Art director Mohan B Kere, Anand Audio’s Shyam, cinematographer William, and Rahul Master, the dance director of the song ‘Settagalla Ninge Nange…’, also addressed the media.
