The film “Kalave Mosagara” is scheduled to release on June 20. The trailer and promo song of the film were unveiled by actor Vasishta Simha, Kempegowda Sena State President Ravi Kumar, and the Sena’s Women’s President Lakshmi.
A team of young talents from the Kannada film industry has come together to make “Kalave Mosagara,” a film that blends violent elements into a silent love story. The trailer and promo song launch event was held at M.M.B Legacy located in G.T. Mall. Chief guests for the event were Vasishta Simha, Ravi Kumar, and Lakshmi, who released the film’s promotional materials. Senior artists Biradar and Ramanand Mysore were present at the event and wished the film team well. Video messages conveying best wishes from actors Tara Anuradha, Darling Krishna, Garuda Ram, Dhananjaya, Vinay Rajkumar, and Chandan Shetty were also played on screen.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasishta Simha apologized for arriving late and said he had come to support his friend and lead actor Bharat Sagar. Recalling their early days, he mentioned that both he and Bharat used to do bare-body ramp walks during their modeling careers and that their passion for cinema had brought them this far. He wished Bharat success as the lead actor in this film.

Kempegowda Sena State President Ravi Kumar said that the entire Sena stands in support of the film team. He added that they had already backed the film’s poster promotions and informed all party workers across their 192 wards to encourage the film.
Director and writer Sanjay Puranik shared that this is his debut film. After completing his engineering studies, his interest in cinema grew, prompting him to decide on making a film. After preparations, the film was completed in 2019. He mentioned that the late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar had watched the film’s song and trailer and had conveyed his good wishes. Puranik noted that the COVID pandemic and certain other issues delayed the film’s release, which is now scheduled for June 20. According to him, the film maintains curiosity from start to finish and explores whether time or an individual wins, while also addressing the theme that love and selfishness cannot coexist. The film will be released in four languages.
Lead actor Bharat Sagar said this is his first film as a hero. He began his career in modeling and later performed in plays at Ranga Shankara before taking up small roles in films. Now playing the protagonist, he described the film as a love subject that includes action, romance, fights, and entertainment. He added that promotions have already started and that the film will be released in 60 theaters across Karnataka. Yashaswini Ravindra plays the female lead in the film.
Actor Vijay Chendoor, who plays an important role in the film, said that he was given a very different role compared to his previous work and appreciated the director’s approach. He added that the film has shaped up well and is set to release on June 20.
The film is produced by Rajat Durgoji Salanke, with music composed by K. Lokesh, cinematography by Kranti Kumar Kondela, and editing by Ritvik.
