There have been many love stories in Kannada cinema, each claiming to be unique. Now, the team behind “Kagada” takes us back to the olden days of love stories, where letters were the medium to express love. The teaser of “Kagada,” directed by Ranjith and produced by Arun Kumar Anjaneya, was recently released by Jhankar Music and has been receiving a lot of appreciation.
This film focuses on a love story that took place before the advent of mobile phones, set against the backdrop of a feud between villagers. The shooting and post-production activities have been completed. Director Ranjith says that this is his second film, following his previous one, “Apple Cake.”
A new talent named Aditya is making his debut as the hero in this film. Ankita Jayaram, known for her work as a child actress, stars as the female lead in “Kagada.” Neha Patil appears in a special role. The star cast also includes Bala Rajwadi, Neenasam Aswath, Math Koppala, Shivamanju, and others.
The film features four songs composed by Pradeep Verma. The cinematography is done by Venus Nagaraj Murthy, and Pawan Gowda is the editor of “Kagada.”
