In Kannada tradition, the term ‘Kadana Virama’ commonly signifies a temporary cessation of battle. Recently, a Kannada film titled ‘Kadana Virama’ initiated its production at the revered Bande Mahakali Temple.
The investors for this venture are Sri Brahmalingeshwara Films’ K Bhasker Naik (Marana Katte) and Samrat Manjunath (Garudachar Palya), collaborating under the direction of Murali SY.
Suresh, a professional builder, performed the clapboard ceremony, and Industrialist Chikkanna officially launched the camera in the presence of esteemed guests.
Marking Murali’s second film after ‘Reveal,’ ‘Kadana Virama’ explores themes of land and humanity. Bhasker Naik crafted the storyline, while the director contributed to the screenplay and dialogues.
The film boasts five songs and four action sequences, with V Manohar handling the music, Rijo P John managing cinematography duties, and the shooting location situated in the coastal Karnataka town of Kundapura.
Akash Shetty, known for his roles in ‘Navarangi’ and other Kannada films, takes on the lead role after a seven-year hiatus. Chayasri stars as the female lead in this cinematic endeavor.
