Anoop Seelin 2, the melody maker, has weaved magic from the diverse collection he unveiled a few days ago. The ‘Kalapatthar’ team is gradually releasing songs, and on Tuesday at 11:11, the song “Gorukana Gaana” was unveiled.
The initial complete lyrical release, “Gorukana Gaana,” boasts remarkable content. The 16-year-old Shivani Naveen delivers a powerful, high-pitched voice that captivated everyone at the MMB Legacy audio event. Shivani, known as a SARIGAMAPA singer, marks her debut as a playback singer with this track, and the ‘Kalapatthar’ team is thrilled by her delightful entry.
Ashwini Puneeth Rajakumar, the nationally acclaimed award-winning actor Thara Anuradha, and Poornima Ramkumar graced the stage to unveil the song. All of them were highly impressed with the quality of Shivani’s vocals.
Anoop Seelin has added ‘2.0’ to his name, setting him apart from his peers in the music industry. After listening to Shivani’s “Shiva Shiva” song, Anoop Seelin, the ace composer, meticulously selected her voice for his film’s song “Gorukana Gaana.” He praised her capabilities, highlighting that she is ahead of her years, as he addressed the media. This song was also filmed in the scorching 42-degree temperature of Northern Karnataka, and the local people insisted on releasing it as the first among the five songs in the film.
The lyricist of “Gorukana Gaana,” Dr. V. Nagendraprasad, expressed optimism for singer Shivani’s future, recounting the song’s evolution. He believed that the visual delight experienced when the entire film is screened will be even more impressive. Vicky Varun, the actor in two films and director of this movie, shows great promise, having collaborated with directors Soori and Yogaraj Bhat. He has provided valuable insights for my writing, and I appreciate his encouragement to give my best. Music director Anoop Seelin is always distinctive in his compositions, and Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad mentioned that he continues to work diligently.
Vikky Varun, the director and hero of the film, revealed his commitment to using only Kannada words and live instruments for this song. They underwent numerous trial-and-error processes, and once “Gorukana Gaana” is heard, the essence of the film will be apparent. They enlisted the support of the eunuch community for the song’s purpose, and the Dainapura village, where they filmed the song, offers a unique backdrop, he emphasized.
Dhanya Ramkumar, the first heroine from Dr. Rajakumar’s family, the granddaughter of Dr. Rajakumar and Parvathamma Rajakumar, credited her mother, Poornima, for contributing significantly to her role portrayal.
The launch of the first song was attended by producer Jagadish Kumar, director Simple Suni, GT World Mall owner Anandappa, director Mahesh, and various other prominent figures.
