A film that takes us back twenty years, “Kaagada,” is all set for release on July 5 across Karnataka. Meanwhile, the film’s trailer has been released. It is a 2005 love story.
Produced by Arun Kumar, the producer of Vinod Prabhakar’s “Rugged,” and directed by Ranjith, the trailer of Aditya and Ankita Jayaram’s film “Kaagada” was released by BJP leader Raghavendra Shetty.
“Kaagada,” a 2005 love story, is also a tale of a time when mobiles were not yet in the hands of young people, and love was exchanged on “paper.” It is also a love story between two villages that hate each other. The film has many such special elements. Director Ranjith said, “This is my second directorial film after ‘Apple Cake.'”
“From the beginning, I wanted to make a Hindu-Muslim love story film. But no one was telling a story that touched my heart. Ranjith succeeded in convincing me. We have not shown any sensitive situations in this film. We have conveyed the message that humanity is more important than anything else. My son Aditya is making his debut as a hero with this film. I have produced this film after the film ‘Rugged,'” producer Arun Kumar disclosed.
“There was an acting school below our house. Seeing the people who were coming to study there, I also showed interest in acting. I learned acting and acted in short films and plays. This is my first film on the big screen,” Aditya, the new hero, said, thanking everyone for fulfilling his wish.
“Thank you all for the encouragement you have given me when I entered the Kannada film industry as a child actress. This is my first film as a heroine,” Ankita Jayaram, the heroine, said, adding that the role of a bold girl in “Kaagada” is an interesting one.
Shivamanju and Gautham, who acted in the film, spoke about their roles. Pradeep Verma (music), Venus Nagaraja Murthy (photography), and Mani (coloring) shared their experiences.
Neha Patil appears in a special role in this film. Bala Rajwadi, Neenasam Aswath, Math Koppala, and Shivamanju are in the star cast.
Chandanavan stars Dhruva Sarja, Ramesh Arvind, Anu Prabhakar, and director AP Arjun, who watched the trailer of “Kaagada,” expressed their appreciation. The trailer and songs of this film are available on the Jhankar Music YouTube channel.
