‘Naavu Birida Neladalli Jagada Teru Eliri’—in the land you are born, pull the chariot of the world. With a very appealing title, the team of ‘Just Pass’ has achieved distinction for its concern and model outlook on society.
The subject content and direction of KM Raghu, supported well by producer KV Shashidhar, has given an ideal film for society. This kind of film is an eye-opener.
Just look at the new KV Degree College started by Dalavayi (Rangayana Raghu) – this college takes admission of students who have just scored 35 percent in their previous academics. This is also obviously a dig at the major colleges that recruit high-percentage-scoring students and automatically get high rankings in the final year of academics.
This is not what should happen – only 35 percent of students should be given coaching to secure 95 percent, is the theory of Dalavayi. In his college, KV Degree College, morals and regular academic lessons are given to the students. Firstly, Dalavayi wins the hearts of students from his frequent speeches on the campus, which earns him the laurels.
Winning laurels for Dalavayi for his college is not that easy. He faces a big attack from the Education minister as his colleges are securing the first four ranks every year. To disturb the ideals and morals of Dalavayi – the situation goes out of control.
Dalavayi and his ‘Just Pass’ Students in the college back him strongly and oppose the foul methods to dislodge the reputation.
How the students take courage and solve the problems is interesting. The ‘Make in India and serve the Country’ also strikes when a foreign company comes to recruit the KV Degree college students in the campus selection.
This kind of ‘Just Pass’ film should be appreciated and projected in the clumsy society we are living in today. Kudos to Director Raghu for such a neat presentation!
Rangayana Raghu was seen in different roles in recent Rangasamudra and this one, giving up his regular comedy, steals the show with his ideals for society.
Shri Mahadev, Pranati, Sadhu Kokila, Suchendra Prasad, Prakash Thuminad, Govinde Gowda, Deepak, Danappa, and other first-time actors selected from the audition have given terrific support to the film ‘Just Pass’.
KM Raghu and Raghu Niduvalli’s dialogues are apt and timely. KM Prakash’s editing is extremely good. Sujay Kumar Bhavikatte’s cinematography is brilliant.
This is a film not to miss. You come out of theaters with a feeling of ‘Why not this type of College’!
