The successful director MD Sridhar’s latest film, Jumbo Circus, is now boasting a collection of good songs after the completion of its shooting. One of the three songs, “Manasothe Manasaare,” sung by Nakul Abhayankar with lyrics by Kaviraj and composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, is particularly rich in melody.
During the launch event, this song, along with the other two tracks from the film, “Grahachara” and “Ganchali Gangavva,” was unveiled to the media last Saturday at the MMB Legacy Hall.
The storyline for Jumbo Circus originated from comedian Sundar Veena. From there, the team collaborated to craft a screenplay that could entertain audiences, as explained by executive producer Supreeta Shetty. She praised the film, noting that it gained significant depth due to the direction of MD Sridhar.
Producer HC Suresh urged the media to support Jumbo Circus as if it were their own movie.
Famous director MD Sridhar has continued the tradition of naming the heroine Ankita, as he has done in his previous films. However, he has kept the reason behind this consistent choice a secret. Director Sridhar also lauded Vasuki Vaibhav’s melodious music and announced plans to release the film in September.
Director Sridhar further mentioned that he intends to utilize the costume design expertise of executive producer Supreeta Shetty in his future projects. He also expressed confidence in the talents of the film’s leads, Praveen Tej and Anjali, predicting that they would soon achieve greater recognition.
The film’s dialogue writer, Raghu, noted that Praveen Tej and Anjali S. Aneesh, the lead actors, played their roles in a Tom-and-Jerry-like manner, bringing humor and energy to the screen.
Supporting actress Lakshmi Siddaiah shared her joy and relief at playing the role of Jalaganti and expressed happiness about her experience working on this film.
Actor Praveen Tej credited director MD Sridhar for his place in the film industry today. He recalled feeling overjoyed when producer Suresh mentioned that it was a directorial project by Sridhar. He also expressed gratitude for being given a unique role, which brought him immense satisfaction. Praveen Tej remarked that his co-star Anjali danced even better than he did in the film.
Anjali S. Aneesh, the film’s heroine, emphasized the importance of audience support, saying that she was fortunate to have played such a good character in the film.
Renowned photographer AV Krishnakumar’s predictions have often come true, and he believes that both Anjali and Praveen have bright futures ahead of them, starting with Jumbo Circus.
Produced by HC Suresh under Sri Mahathi Combines, Jumbo Circus features stunts choreographed by Dr. Ravi Verma and three songs choreographed by A. Harsha. The lyrics were penned by Jayant Kayakini, Dr. Nagendra Prasad, and Kaviraj. The film also boasts art direction by Mohan B. Kere and editing by Gyanesh.
The cast includes Avinash, Achyuta Kumar, Ravishankar Gowda, Ashalatha, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Nayana Sarath, Jagagappa, and the late Mohan Juneja, who all portray various characters in the film.
