Produced by Pooja Vasantakumar, directed by Suri Kunder, and starring Praveen Tej, the trailer for the film “Jigar” was released recently. PRO Sudhindra Venkatesh released the trailer and wished the team all the best. Actor Dharmanna was the guest on this occasion. The film is set to hit the screens on July 5.
Actor Praveen Tej, on behalf of producer Pooja Vasanth Kumar, explained the making of the film. Praveen Tej, known for his interesting film credits, has tried his hand at action in “Jigar” for the first time. According to him, the logical narration in “Jigar” acts as a bridge in cinema. The immense support from producer Pooja Vasanth Kumar and director Suri Kunder’s ability to execute the project convinced him to take on the role. Chetan D’Souza composed the action sequences, and the title “Jigar” has mass appeal. It is a comedy-action genre film. We shot around ninety percent of the film in Kundapura. The support system for making this film was very good, and I have been involved with the project for two and a half years. This is UK Productions’ fifth film. Profit was not the primary goal for this project.
Further narrating the concept, Praveen Tej explained that the film touches on Fish Tender Politics for the first time, detailing how youths are trapped in this context.
“I have been in the film industry for about fifteen years and have worked with famous directors. This is my debut film as a director. Thanks to the producers for the opportunity. ‘Jigar’ means one with a strong heart to take on anything. We shot at Malpe, Udupi, Kundapur, etc. The film is well made with the cooperation of the crew members,” director Suri Kunder said, encouraging viewers to watch the film when it releases on July 5.
Many artists who acted in the film, including heroine Vijaysree, actor Yash Shetty, and Bhavya Poojari, explained the roles they have performed. Music Director Rithvik Muralidhar, Lyricist Ganesh, and Cinematographer Shivsena also shared their work experiences.
