The renowned journalist Kavya Christopher’s daughter, Jerusha, is paired with Smile Guru Rakshit in the top-notch director Mahesh Babu’s untitled Kannada movie.
The daughter of Veer Madakari’s Kichcha Sudeepa, Jerusha, was a child actor in 2009. She makes her debut as a heroine now.
Director Mahesh Babu, who introduced many actresses to the Kannada film industry like Aindritha Ray in Meravanige, Kriti Karbanda in Chiru, Nikki Galrani in Ajith, and Ashika Ranganath in Crazy Boy, and Hritika Srinivas in Aparoopa, is now launching a new face, Jerusha, as the heroine.
By the way, Jerusha is not new to the camera. She had already caught the audience’s attention as a child artiste in Sudeep’s film Veera Madakari. Jerusha, who has a background in commercials and theater, is now all set to make her silver screen debut with a film directed by Mahesh Babu. Jerusha will be paired with the smile guru Rakshit, who is known for appearing in dance reality shows. Mahesh Babu has roped in another talented actress for the lead role, the details of which will be unveiled soon.
Also, the title of Mahesh Babu’s new story is not finalized yet. Chetan and Anurag will be bankrolling the film, which has a youthful entertainer storyline. The film will have music composed by Anoop Seelin and Sathya cinematography. The shooting will begin in May in major locations in and around Bangalore.
