Prominent medical professionals have unveiled top-notch songs as a tribute to the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava. These esteemed individuals include Dr. Shailesh Kumar, a neurosurgeon, and Dr. Shashikala Puttaswamy, an eye specialist.

The song “Jayabheri Kannada…” serves as a showcase of Karnataka’s rich heritage, rivaling the quality of any film production. The song boasts exceptional lyrics, carefully selected locations, expert composition, renowned artists’ participation, well-executed costumes, choreography, and substantial investment.

This song undeniably secures a prominent spot among music enthusiasts. Dr. Shailesh Kumar, with over four decades of experience and the producer of the Kannada films “6Ne Maili” and “Talwar Pete,” makes a judicious choice. He is strongly supported by the highly skilled writer, Dr. Shashikala Puttaswamy, who is also an eye specialist. This marks Dr. Shashikala’s second venture into album songs, showcasing her penchant for high-quality work, having previously written and directed “Onti Payana.”

The song features the captivating presence of artists such as Nishvika Naidu, who is reminiscent of the top actor Kushboo from the Kannada film “Jeeva Nadhi.” Additionally, Veena Ponnappa, a tall and striking actor, Yashas Soorya, known for his role in “Garadi,” and Kiran Raj, a popular actor recognized for the TV serial “Kannadathi,” join the charismatic and distinguished Dr. Shailesh Kumar in the 3-minute and 45-second video song. This ensemble makes the song a compelling and repeat-worthy experience.

Dr. Shailesh Kumar produces the song under Sri Nagabrahma Creations. He emphasizes their unwavering commitment to ensuring quality in all aspects of the project, without concern for the investment. Nearly 700 additional dancers were employed for this song, and the dance director, Dhananjay, and cinematographer Halesh contributed to the pursuit of high quality. Top-tier doctor Shailesh Kumar mentions that they filmed the song “Jayabheri Kannada…” over two days. This song, created in collaboration with the support of the Karnataka Government, premiered at the recent Hampi Utsava, where it was viewed by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his cabinet colleagues.

The talented and beautiful Nishvika Naidu agreed to participate in the song due to its significance to Karnataka. She describes the project as one infused with devotion and dedication, and she anticipates being a prominent figure on the Kannada screen for years to come.

Yashas Soorya expresses his unwavering dedication to the language and considers his involvement in the song “Jayabheri Kannada…” a matter of pride.

The song’s composition is credited to Sai Sri Kiran, drawing inspiration from several Kannada classics. It is brought to life by the prolific singers Hemanth and Anuradha Bhat, accompanied by Anirudh Shastry, and is further enhanced by the exquisite costume design by Jeevitha.
