The talented Kannada film actress and accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, Roopika, has delivered a remarkable piece through her ‘Gejje’ team, receiving strong support from Siri Music Chikkanna.
In the buzz of Ayodhya Bala Rama making headlines, the intelligent Roopika presents a tribute song titled “Janaki Rama.”
Marking the auspicious occasion of January 22, when the dream of millions of Indians materializes with the installation of Prabhu Sri Ram in Ayodhya, the album song “Janaki Rama” was released. Siri Music presented and actress Roopika’s Gejje Dance Studio produced this significant composition.
The song release event witnessed the presence of MLA Rajugowda from Surpur, DS Max’s MD Dayanand, NM Suresh (President of Karnataka Board of Film Commerce), actress Priyanka Upendra, Ba.Ma. Harish (former president of Karnataka Board of Film Commerce), Umesh Bankar (President of Karnataka Film Producers Association), Police Officer Shankar, and other dignitaries.
Expressing their admiration for the song, the dignitaries remarked, “When we watched this song, we were captivated. It felt like witnessing the glory of Rama today.” They extended their gratitude to Siri Music’s Suresh Chikkanna and Roopika for presenting such an exceptional song.
Roopika shared insights into the creation of the song, emphasizing the support received from Gejje Dance Studios and Siri Music. The song, shot on an elaborate set in Bangalore Studios, features performances by Anirudh Jatakar and Niranjan Deshpande. Directed by Advait Shetty, the song’s lyrics are penned by Manoj Saugand, and Neetu Ninad has composed the music while also lending her voice. Roopika, in addition to her role as a creative director, collaborated on choreography with Likhit Achar.

Expressing his happiness at releasing the album song, Siri Music’s Suresh Chikkanna shared that the shooting, scheduled for ten days, was completed with technical additions in just one day. He pledged to release more such wonderful songs from his organization in the future.
