Sandalwood’s top audio house, Jhankar Audio, has acquired the music rights for the movie Jalandhara, which boasts top-notch content along with mesmerizing music, at a time when the Kannada film industry is delivering world-class films.
Pramod Shetty, the hero of the recently released and successful film Laughing Buddha, and a well-established actor in Sandalwood, is producing this film under the banner of Step Up Pictures, alongside Madan S. Hoodie Chandramohan, C.L. Ramesh Ramachandra, and Padmanabhan Mangudoddy, who are also producers.
Vishnu V. Prasanna, who has served as a creative head and co-director on many projects, has written the screenplay and directed Jalandhara. Shyam Sundar and Akshay Kumar assisted in the screenplay development. The cinematography is handled by Kerala-based Sarin Ravindran and Vidya Shankar P.S. The film’s music is composed by young music director G. Jatin Darshan, and it has been meticulously edited by veteran film editor Venky UDV.
Pramod Shetty stars in the lead role, alongside Step Off Loki, who comes from a theater background and also penned the story for this film. Additionally, Triveni Rao, known for her role as Saroja in Tagaru, plays the female lead, Rishika Raj. Arohita Gowda of Adhyaksha fame, Balaraj Wadi, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Naveen Sagar, Pratap Nanasu, Adi Keshavareddy, Bhishma Ramaiah, Vijayaraj, Prasad, Ambu, and others also feature in the cast.
