The youth-centric entertainer Interval, directed by Bharat Varsha, has successfully completed 25 days in theaters, receiving a positive response from audiences across Karnataka. Produced under Bharatvarsh Pictures by Sukesh and Bharat Varsha, the film humorously portrays the journey of three friends sharing the same name—from their mischievous school days to engineering college life and job hunting.
Director Pavan Odedra graced the 25-day celebration event and felicitated the team with a memento. Speaking at the event, he said, “I’ve heard a lot about this film. It’s an impressive effort by a team of engineers who have not only made the film but also marketed it successfully. Completing 25 days in theaters is a milestone in today’s times, and this team has achieved it. Many films have been set in a college backdrop, including my own Googly. This team has taken a similar challenge and emerged victorious. I wish their next project reaches even greater heights. We have immense talent in our industry, and audiences must give more support to newcomers’ films.”
Director Bharat Varsha expressed gratitude, saying, “We feel blessed by Puneeth Rajkumar, and we also received support from Ashwini madam, Sriimurali, and Dhruva Sarja, which contributed to the film’s success.”
Lead actor Sakhee shared his thoughts, “Beyond financial success, this film has given us immense mental satisfaction. Over 22,000 people have watched and appreciated it. Media support has been tremendous. Making a film involves two major challenges—writing a strong script and bringing audiences to theaters. Everything else is comparatively easier.”
Other cast members, including Shashiraj, Prajwal Kumar Gowda, and lead actresses Sahana Aradhya and Charitra Rao, expressed their joy at the film’s success.
The film features music composed by Vikas Vasishta, with songs rendered by renowned singers like Vijay Prakash, Chandan Shetty, All OK Alok, Sunidhi Ganesh, and Vani Harikrishna. Interval is further enhanced by Rajkanth’s cinematography, Chandru Bande’s action choreography, and Shashidhar’s editing.
