The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday granted conditional interim bail to Challenging Star Darshan on health grounds. This six-week interim bail will allow the superstar to receive medical treatment at a hospital of his choice, with a report to be submitted to the court within one week.

Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, performed pooja at a Devi temple in Ballari before making arrangements for his transport to Bengaluru.

Darshan has been in custody for four and a half months in connection with the murder case of Renukaswamy. Justice S. Vishwajith Shetty announced the interim bail order after hearing arguments from Darshan’s lawyer, C.V. Nagesh, and the opposing counsel, Prasanna Kumar.

As part of the bail conditions, Darshan must submit his passport to the court during the six-week period. He requires immediate medical treatment due to a backache and a nerve issue affecting one of his legs. The court acknowledged the right of every individual to receive appropriate medical care.

Darshan is expected to undergo treatment at Apollo Hospital in Mysuru.

Meanwhile, Darshan’s fans are delighted with the interim bail, which comes just in time for the Festival of Lights, celebrating his release with joy and enthusiasm.
