The song launch event for “Idu Nam Shale,” the debut offering from Shree Jaenukal Productions, was recently held. The film features two songs, the first of which was released by the renowned IPS officer Ravi D Channannavar, while the second was unveiled by NM Suresh, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. At the same event, the film’s poster was also released, witnessed by many dignitaries and members of the film crew.
IPS officer Ravi D Channannavar commented that the film portrays a story about both private and government schools. Having himself studied in a government school and later becoming an IPS officer, he emphasized the importance of conveying positive messages through cinema. He also expressed his admiration for Dr. Rajakumar, stating that to him, Dr. Rajakumar represents ‘Panchprana’. He cited inspiration from Sudeep’s films “Gedde Geluve Ondu Dina,” “Araluva Huvugale,” and the song “Hey Dinakara” from Sivarajkumar’s film “Om”.
Director Krishna Belthangadi, who transitioned from journalism to directing with films like “Bannadakode,” stated that “Idu Nam Shale” is his third directorial venture. He described the film as an exploration of the current education system, focusing on both private and government schools. The shooting of the film has been completed, and it has been censored, poised for release. The shooting locations include Araseikere, Jaenukal, Geejihalli, and Bangalore, as disclosed by Krishna Belthangadi. Notably, Sivalinge Gowda, a popular MLA from Araseikere, portrays the role of Chief Minister for the first time in this movie.
Produced by Ravi Achar, the film features the collaboration of Araseekere Umesh. Cinematography is by Nagaraj Advani, with music composed by Hitan Haasan. The lead roles are played by Punya and Poojya, supported by a cast including Shankar Bhatt, Pooja Suman, Ishwar Dala, Mallikarjun Tumkur, Shivalingegowda Mandya, Muralikrishna, Basavaraj, Vani Gowda, Raju Nayak, Master Ramu, Ganga Ravi, Kala Umesh, among others.
