Another interesting film from Paramvah Studios, helmed by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta, Ibbani Thabbida Ileyali has announced its release date as September 5, 2024. At the trailer launch event, after a one-and-a-half-hour delay, the team also screened some melodious songs composed by Gagan Baderia.
At the event, the prominent Rakshit Shetty predicted that actors Vihan and Ankitha Amar would win state awards for their performances in Ibbani Thabbida Ileyali.
Directed by Chandrajith Belliyappa and starring young talents Vihan, Ankita Amar, and Mayuri Nataraja, this much-awaited film will hit theaters across the state on September 5. The trailer has received much appreciation, and the film’s team is hopeful that audiences who enjoyed the trailer and songs will come to the theaters to watch the film.
Rakshit Shetty, both actor and producer, mentioned that director Chandrajith had written a blog post nine years ago that felt special. This writing eventually led to their meeting, and Chandrajith’s story was transformed into this movie. While there may have been films with similar stories in Kannada cinema, the narration style in this one is unique. Rakshit added that he has already seen the movie thrice and loves both the trailer and the film. He believes that Vihaan and Ankita’s performances are award-worthy. He also praised Mayuri for capturing everyone’s attention, even in her limited screen time.
The film features Vihaan, Ankita Amar, Mayuri, and Girija Shettar, of Gitanjali fame, in pivotal roles. Chandrajit Belliyappa expressed his happiness that Girija Shettar has returned to acting in their film after twenty years and thanked everyone for their support and encouragement.
Actor Vihaan mentioned that the songs have been well-received and is confident that the movie will be a hit. He hopes that viewers will bring more people to the cinemas. He also appreciated Rakshit Shetty for his keen eye for talent.
Actress Ankita Amar said that everyone has many dreams, and this film, a cherished creation, has woven a kind of magic, with a narrative where “context is the villain.” She emphasized that the characters are introduced according to the context, and the director plays a crucial role in guiding the artists. She described the film as a celebration of love, anchored through music and visuals, and encouraged everyone to watch the movie to support new artists and technicians.
Actress Mayuri Nataraja shared her excitement about the trailer’s release, acknowledging the challenge of acting with just her eyes. She encouraged everyone to watch the movie and share their thoughts, noting the significance of bringing a film with newcomers to the screen at this level.
Paramvah’s CEO Srinish Shetty declared that the film would be another blockbuster in Kannada cinema.
Kiran Raj, the director of Charlie 777, praised the trailer, mentioning that he has worked with Chandrajith since the Kirik Party days. After watching the trailer, he felt a strong connection with the film, stating that it deserves to win and expressing gratitude for being given a role in it.
