Director-cum-actor Aryan Tejas, who considers Appu (Puneeth Rajkumar) as his divine idol, is now coming with the film ‘I Am Karunakara’. Originally from Hassan, he moved towards theatre and learnt acting and direction. He has acted in several serials including Silli Lalli. As days passed, he worked with camera assistants and direction teams. Yet, he felt the industry wasn’t fully supporting him, so he shifted back to Hassan. But dreams cannot be left behind. Returning to Bengaluru again, he has now made the film ‘I Am Karunakara’.

Earlier, he had made the film ‘Park Road 100 Rupees’, which was based on education. The film ‘Park Road 100 Rupees’ was screened in hundreds of schools. With the inspiration he received from everyone, this new film has come to life. He had written the story even before the Covid period. When Sunil narrated the story to producer Santosh, and when it became clear that this story would make a wonderful film, the story was developed accordingly and the film was made. With the intention of giving Kannada a good film, Naman Narayan, Santosh, Vaibhav Suresh and Shreekanth B.B. have produced the film.

The team of ‘I Am Karunakara’ gives the assurance that the film will connect deeply with everyone’s life. It is a story that carries the bond between a father and son, as well as between husband and wife. When a whole family watches the film together, they will realize that the naughty one in every household is present in this story too. The film has completed all its work and is ready for release on February 6.
