The makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring Rocking Star Yash, have unveiled the first look of actor Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth. The film is scheduled for release in 2026 and continues to draw attention with updates related to its cast and production.

Huma Qureshi’s character Elizabeth is introduced through a first-look image set in a graveyard, featuring tombstones and stone angel structures in the background. She is seen standing beside a vintage black car, dressed in an off-shoulder black outfit with dramatic sleeves. The visual places her character in a gothic environment, combining elements of elegance with a dark and restrained tone. The look suggests a character marked by composure, control, and moral ambiguity rather than overt aggression.

Director Geetu Mohandas, speaking about casting Huma Qureshi, said the role was challenging to cast and required a performer with strong screen presence. She stated that Huma brought a sense of sophistication and intensity to the character and actively engaged with the interpretation of the role during the creative process. According to the director, this collaboration influenced the development of Elizabeth on screen.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups marks Yash’s return to the big screen four years after KGF: Chapter 2. The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.

The technical team includes Rajeev Ravi as cinematographer, Ravi Basrur as music composer, Ujwal Kulkarni as editor, and TP Abid as production designer. Action sequences are choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry, along with Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is slated for a theatrical release on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
