The new scheme by the Nandagokul Home Building Co-operative Society of Mysore aims to provide land to film crew members at low cost and is progressing with developments.

Nandagokul Griha Nirman Co-operative Society is planning to build a Film City Colony in Mysore, catering to all sections of the Kannada film industry and the general public under one roof at low cost.

In this regard, the society is operating in five districts: Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu, Hassan, and Chamarajanagar, and has been recognized by the government. Fifty acres of land have already been identified on the Mysore-Bannur road. The main objective of this housing construction association is to develop plots within the legal framework without any obstacles and to provide plots at low rates to all categories of people related to the film industry and the public.

Ex-president of the KFCC, S.R. Govindu, and ex-presidents of the Producers’ Association, D.K. Ramakrishna and K.M. Veeresh, have joined the Nandagokul Griha Nirman Sangh and have expressed their best wishes for the success of the planned Film City project.

Currently, there is no charge for membership in our association. Shivaji of Mysore, the founder of Nandagokul Housing Co-operative Society and actor, stated that payment will be required only at the time of land allotment.
