The pan-India film Raja Saab, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026. The Karnataka distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Hombale Films.
The film is directed by Maruthi and will present Prabhas in a new screen avatar. Raja Saab is described as a commercial entertainer that includes elements of entertainment, emotion, and mass appeal.
The makers are planning to release the film across more than 300 screens in Karnataka. With Hombale Films handling the distribution in the state, the film is expected to have a wide release during the Pongal 2026 festival period.
Raja Saab has been generating attention among audiences and trade circles ahead of its release.
