HOLLYWOOD ACTOR ERIC ROBERTS JOINS THE CAST OF ‘MY HERO’

A distinguished Hollywood actor, Eric Roberts, has joined the cast of ‘My Hero,’ bringing with him a stellar reputation. Alongside this iconic figure of Hollywood cinema, several skilled technicians contributed to the third schedule of the Kannada film, ‘My Hero.’

The filming took place over a 15-day period in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Big Sur, marking the successful completion of the entire shoot.

Eric Roberts, originally hailing from Mississippi and raised in Atlanta, commenced his career in theater in New York. He is a recipient of a prestigious theater acting award and has achieved critical acclaim, including an Academy Award for his role in ‘Run Away Train.’ Over the course of his film career, he has been nominated for the Golden Globe three times. Some of his most popular films include ‘Final Analysis,’ ‘The Dark Knight,’ ‘Paul Thomas Anderson,’ ‘Inherent Vice’ for Warner Brothers, ‘Millennium Films,’ and ‘The Expendables’ for Lions Gate. Now, he is part of the Kannada film ‘My Hero.’

‘My Hero’ is the directorial debut of Avinash Vijayakumar, a theater artist with credentials from the San Francisco Film School and training from the Anupam Kher Film Institute. He established his AV Studio and invested in this project.

“We are addressing a universal social issue with confidence,” he asserts. Upon returning from the USA, an official encounters a young boy in India, and through our film, we aim to showcase a different perspective of the Indian subcontinent.

Hollywood actors Jilali Rez Kallah and Master Vedik Kaushik play prominent roles in the majority of scenes, while Dattanna, Purohit, and Prakash Belawadi assume official roles, with Niranjan Deshpande taking on another character.

The film will capture scenes in Chikmagalur, Madhya Pradesh, and select locations in the USA to cater to Kannada, Hindi, and English audiences.

Gagan Baderia is composing music for three songs, including one in English. Kumar Gowda is the cinematographer, with the screenplay penned by director Muthuraj. Dialogues have been written by Gym Shivu.
