The upcoming Kannada film Hacche, produced under the banner of Ashwa Films and directed by Yashodhara, has released its first song, Vighneshwaraya. The film features debutant actor Abhimanyu in the lead role. Written by director Yashodhara himself, the devotional track has been composed by Vivek Chakravarthy and sung by Shivam. The song was unveiled recently in the presence of media representatives, who also participated in the launch. Since its release, the track has received positive initial feedback from listeners.
Speaking at the press interaction following the song launch, the filmmakers shared that the release of Vighneshwaraya marks the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign. The film’s title, Hacche, has already sparked curiosity, and the significance behind the title will be explained within the film itself. According to the team, Hacche is not limited to a single genre. It blends love, sentiment, suspense, and thriller elements to cater to diverse audience preferences.
Actor Abhimanyu, who hails from Mysuru and comes from a theatre background, is making his debut as a lead actor with this film. Having previously acted in plays and films including Anjani Putra, Abhimanyu said that director Yashodhara recognized his potential and offered him the lead role. He expressed confidence in his character and sought audience support for the team’s fresh effort. The film also stars Aadya Priya and Anu Prema in prominent roles, both of whom spoke about their characters during the media interaction.
Director Yashodhara shared insights into the film’s production, stating that a significant portion of Hacche was shot on sets. Under the guidance of art director Shankar, seven elaborate sets were constructed. He expressed sadness over Shankar’s passing, acknowledging his major contribution to the project. The film is now complete and is expected to release in the next two months.
Music director Vivek Chakravarthy spoke about the film’s songs, while stunt director Chandru Bande, dance choreographer Star Nagi, and cinematographer Yasin were also present at the press event.
