A new Kannada film directed by Gururaj Kulkarni (Nadagowda) is set to go on floors soon, with most of its pre-production work already completed. The film is being produced as a collaboration between Nirantara Productions and G9 Communication and Media and is being made on a big budget. The title of the film will be unveiled on January 11 during the Sankranti festival by actor Kichcha Sudeepa.
The film features Suraj Gowda and Praveen in lead roles, with Sharanya Shetty playing the female lead. Several other senior and junior actors from the Kannada film industry will also be part of the cast in key roles. The film is based on a love-cum-crime-thriller theme aimed at contemporary audiences.
The project is being produced by Dr. Nirantara Ganesh under the banner of Nirantara Productions, in association with G9 Communication and Media. Dr. Nirantara Ganesh had earlier produced the Kannada film Iraavan, which starred Jayaram Karthik (J.K.) and Adviti Shetty.
Music for the film is composed by Veer Samarth, with lyrics written by Pramod Maravante. Cinematography is handled by Harsha Kumar Gowda, while editing is being done by B. S. Kemparaj. Dialogues for the film have been written by Raghu Niduvalli.
The film will be shot across multiple locations in Bengaluru, Goa, and other parts of Karnataka. Further details regarding the film’s title and additional aspects of the project are expected to be announced soon.
