With a strong background and valuable contacts, Raghav Karthik arrives with a unique film titled Grand Illusions. According to him, illusions are infinite, as he shared during his maiden media meet at SRV Theater in Malleswaram on Wednesday.
A music director by profession, Raghav Karthik, also an analyst, is presenting nine characters and two protagonists in his film, offering several illusions for the audience to experience. He showcased the film’s teaser and a song, Anuragadi, sung by Prathima Bhat. The lyrics of Kanadanthe Mayavadanu have been changed to Maralibandanu, which sparks many thoughts in the mind.
The event was graced by veteran actor M.S. Umesh and talented director Pallaki Radhakrishna. Umeshanna might be appearing in a role in this film and attended the event to bless the new filmmaker. Pallaki Radhakrishna also blessed Raghav Karthik. Promising big things, Pallaki Radhakrishna assured, “In the coming days, I would make a film with Umeshanna in a major role.”
This film promises multiple dynamics. Raghav Karthik expects to finalize the “snow white” structure within three months. Although he has NRI friends funding the project, he aims to establish a solid business model for it.
The story revolves around one family girl and nine characters who accidentally meet, leading to various situations, explains Raghav Karthik. He adds that the shade of Guru Shishyaru might be reflected in the film’s tone. Currently, he is pitching two popular faces for the film. Present at the media meet were Puneeth, Shreyas (a theater actor known for Teddy Bear and Jalandhar), and Sooryateja, who acted in the Kannada film Chamayya Son of Ramachari.
