The song “Muddaada Ninna Hesarenu,” penned by the eminent writer Kaviraj, is a beautiful piece from the film ‘Gowri.’ This film’s value is further enhanced by the performances of actors Samarjith and Sania, the cinematography of Krishnakumar, the music direction of Jassie Gift, and the vocals of singer Nihal Tavaru. The title song of ‘Gowri,’ written by K Kalyan, is equally touching.
The idea of releasing such a beautiful song for ‘Gowri’ came to the mind of Indrajith Lankesh, a shrewd and sensitive director-cum-producer. Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of his film ‘Monalisa,’ he invited the lovely pair from that film, Dhyan and Sada, to add glory to the evening of the ‘Gowri’ song release, graced by the presence of Nadabrahma Hamsalekha.
The 20th anniversary of the movie “Monalisa” was celebrated by cutting a cake with the crew members. Director Indrajith Lankesh, hero Dhyan, heroine Sada, actor Sharan, dialogue writer BA Madhu, still cinematographer Gundlupet Suresh, designer Mani, and other members of the “Monalisa” film crew were present at the function.
On the occasion of this celebration, two songs were released, including “Muddaada,” from Indrajith Lankesh’s directorial debut ‘Gowri,’ which marks his son Samarjit Lankesh’s film debut.
Famous music director Hamsalekha released the song “Gowri,” dedicated to Indrajith’s sister Gauri Lankesh. The song “Muddaada” was released by ‘Monalisa’ hero Dhyan and heroine Sada. The songs are released by Anand Audio.
After releasing the song, Hamsalekha said that music is cinema and cinema is music, emphasizing that it is impossible to imagine a movie without music. Indrajith, known for his stylish films, has also directed this film, making his son’s debut in the industry under his direction. He dedicated the song released today to Gauri Lankesh and wished the film “Gowri” success.
Director and producer Indrajith Lankesh said, “‘Gowri’ has seven songs. Since this is a music-oriented film, I wanted to release the song by the respected Hamsalekha. ‘Muddaada’ is written by Kaviraj and sung by Nihal Tavru, with music by Jassie Gift. Another song, written by K. Kalyan, is dedicated to my elder sister Gauri Lankesh. The Censor Board has given a ‘U’ certificate to the film, which will be released grandly on August 15th. Gangadhar Mysore is also part distributor, and Jayanna Films is distributing it across wider Karnataka. Dubbing rights have also been sold. ‘I have to win as a director no matter what,’ pointed out Indrajith Lankesh.”
Debutant Samarjit Lankesh expressed, “The time has come for my long-time dream to come true. First, I would like to thank my father and the entire team.”
Sanya Iyer, the heroine, said, “We are happy that the song of our film has been released in the presence of so many celebrities.” The film’s cinematographer, K. Kalyan, and Kaviraj also shared their experiences on this occasion.
Actor Sharan, Dhyan, Sada, and dialogue writer BA Madhu shared their experiences from the days of ‘Monalisa.’
