MANJUNATH ARASU STARS IN ‘GOPILOLA’ DIRECTED BY R. RAVINDRA

R. Ravindra, known for directing Kannada films such as Chalagaara, Sarkari Kelasa Devara Kelasa, Manasinaata, and Bangarada Makkalu, as well as the Marathi film February 14 and Mission Ambulance, has completed his latest project. The title of the new film is Gopilola. In this movie, Manjunath Arasu takes on the lead role, while Nimisha K. Chandra plays the female lead. The cast also includes anchor-cum-actress Jahnavi, S. Narayan, Padma Vasanti, Nagesh Yadav, Swathi, veteran director Jos Simon, and Telugu actor Saptagiri.

S. R. Sanath Kumar, who previously produced Chalagaara and Randhava, has invested in Gopilola. Manjunath Arasu, in addition to acting as the lead, is co-producing the film. Gopilola combines elements of natural agriculture and romance, with Keshavchandra providing the screenplay and dialogues. The film’s technical team includes KM Prakash as editor, Midun Asokan for music, Rakesh Acharya for background score, Surya Kant H for cinematography, and Thirllar Manju and Jani Master for action choreography.

The soundtrack of Gopilola features lyrics by Jayant Kaikini, Kaviraj, and Keshavchandra, with vocals from Rajesh Krishnan, Vijay Prakash, Hemant, Anuradha Bhat, Varij Shree, Shashank, and Geeta Bhat. Dance choreography is handled by Sadacharya, Dhananjay, and Harikrishna. Filming took place in locations including Goa, Kodachadri, Honnavar, Mangalore, Murudeshwar, Chikmagalur, and Bangalore. With filming complete, Gopilola is preparing for its release, and the team plans to share a teaser and songs in the near future.
