The Muhurat for ‘God Promise’ took place at Anegudde Ganapathi Temple in Kundapur. Soochan Shetty, along with Pramod Shetty and Ravi Basruru, is working on this new project.
Young talent Soochan Shetty’s directorial debut, ‘God Promise’, had its preview at Anegudde, Kundapur, Udupi district. Actor Pramod Shetty and music director Ravi Basrur supported Soochan’s dream. Ravi Basrur initiated the start of ‘God Promise’, and Pramod Shetty began the camera. It’s noteworthy that the muhurta of Kantara series of movies was also held in this temple.
Director Suchan Shetty mentioned that ‘God Promise’ started its pre-production work six months ago. He has been collaborating with Ravi Basrur since 2015 and is now taking his first step as a director with this film. The movie is set in Kundapur and revolves around a family drama. Auditions were conducted, and along with the Direction team, Suchan was also involved in the writing of ‘Kataka’ and ‘Girmit’ movies. Therefore, Ravi Basrur said, “I’m getting into direction based on that experience.”
Music director Ravi Basrur stated that making a movie will determine the future of many artists. Our coastal people lack a good platform. In this regard, I advise those who come with us to learn all aspects of filmmaking. Similarly, everyone should learn all sections. Can one movie improve the lives of so many people?
Actor Pramod Shetty expressed that whatever work Soochan undertakes, he completes it neatly. Acting and directing simultaneously is challenging, so let’s all move forward together. Let’s emerge as a team. He believes this movie holds much promise, given its good budget. Soochan has acted brilliantly in our movie, he added, expressing his support for the entire team.
Producer Maithri Manjunath stated, “We have previously produced the movie ‘Hafta’. This is my second movie. The script of ‘God Promise’ is very good.” She mentioned that she has joined hands with an experienced team.
Soochan Shetty has taken the director’s chair with ‘God Promise’, and Maithri Manjunath has supported his new journey. Manjunath is producing the film under Maitri Productions, which earlier produced ‘Hafta’, an underground story of the coast. Inspired by a true incident, the film has a family and comedy storyline with cinematography by Guruprasad Narnad, music direction by Bharat Madhusudanan, and composition by Naveen Shetty.
