The accomplished stage and cinema figure, Srinivasa Prabhu, renowned for his contributions as an actor, director, and writer spanning the last four decades, as well as his popularity as a television actor, has added another prestigious accolade to his illustrious career – the ‘Global Talent Visa.’

In his recent article on avadhimag.in, which marks the 114th episode, Srinivasa Prabhu exudes happiness, expressing, “Arts Council England has confirmed my exceptional promise and is satisfied that I qualify for endorsement under the Global Talent visa criteria.”

Srinivasa Prabhu has received official communication from the British government’s Home Department regarding this achievement. Notably, Srinivasa Prabhu’s daughter, Anvi (Radhika) Prabhu, is already in London, pursuing the same visa, and he will soon be uniting with his wife, Ranjini Prabhu, a professor and poet, to celebrate this recognition during the first week of November.

What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is the upcoming performance of ‘Bimba,’ a one-man show portraying the life of the eminent playwright Samsa, scheduled for December 3, 2023, at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavana, London. On that day, Srinivasa Prabhu will take on the lead role in this one-man show.

It’s worth mentioning that ‘Bimba,’ a Kannada film featuring 90 minutes of a single actor, one uninterrupted shot, and one location, garnered widespread acclaim.
