The film ‘Gangster Alla Frankster’, produced under the banner of Wood Creepers, is ready for release and will be hitting screens across the state on April 25. Previously known for directing the film Bhavachitra, Girish Kumar takes on the megaphone for the third time with Gangster Alla Frankster, while also playing the lead role himself. Another key role is portrayed by Tilak Shekar, known for Ugramm.
Speaking at a recent press conference, director-actor Girish Kumar said, “The regional censor board has given our film a U/A certificate without any cuts. This is a story about a YouTuber — a film about someone who makes frank videos. It’s also an action-comedy. In this film, I play the Frankster, while Tilak plays the Gangster. The film will be an inspiration to those striving to achieve something in life. Moreover, it will connect with everyone’s life,” he said.
Following that, the film’s heroine Veronica Shetty said, “I play a college girl named Shruthi. I’m happy to have worked with this team. We’ve been promoting the film through frank videos, and the team surprised me by doing a frank video on me as well, which has been well received on social media,” she said.
Artists like Yuva Kishore, Lokendra, and Suraj also shared insights about their respective roles on stage.
Scheduled to release on about 60 screens on April 25, the film has music composed by John Kennedy and features four songs. Cinematography is by Ajay Kumar and editing is handled by Ratheesh Kumar.
