The phrase “Nayi Ide Echarike” (Beware of Dog) is commonly seen in front of houses that have pet dogs. This phrase has now become the title of a Kannada movie. Dr. Leelamohan PVR, a medical professional, is both producing and playing the lead role in this film with a distinctive title. Dr. Leelamohan has been active in the film industry for the past five years. Before producing this movie, he acted as the lead in the film Gadiyara. He has also played significant supporting roles in several films including Kourya, Puttani Pantarugalu, Road King, and the Telugu film Kalyanamastu. Notably, he drew attention with his role as a disturbed psycho character in the film Ugravathara.

The teaser and songs of Nayi Ide Echarike, directed by Kali Gowda, were recently released by producer-director Indrajit Lankesh. Actor Pratham was present as a chief guest. Later, members of the film team spoke about the project.

“I have been in the film industry for fifteen years. This is my second film as a director. Everyone knows dogs are loyal animals. What we have shown in this film is that a dog’s loyalty doesn’t end even after its death. I thank the producer who liked the story I narrated and invested in it, as well as the team that supported the film’s successful development,” said director Kali Gowda.

“I am a doctor by profession, and I play a doctor in this film as well. My name in the film is also Leela. This is a story about the bond between a dog and a human. It also highlights the consequences of dog bites. The film contains suspense, thriller, horror, and sentiment elements,” said lead actor and producer Dr. Leelamohan. Divyashree plays the female lead. The cast includes Pramod Shetty, Raj Balwadi, Dinesh Mangalore, Nagendra Aras, Manasa, and Chandan.

The film is currently with the censor board. The team is working towards releasing it next month, according to Dr. Leelamohan.

Lead actress Divyashree, actor Manasa, and music director MAD D also spoke about the film.
