The trailer of February 30, starring Bigg Boss fame Abhishek Srikant, has been released. The film is based on a psychological thriller storyline. It is directed by Mysore-based Prashanth M.L. and produced by Joseph Baby under the banner Shankar Movies International.

Speaking at the event, director Prashanth M.L. said that he works as an IT employee and had earlier been making short films. He initially planned to make February 30 on a smaller scale, but as the writing progressed, the project developed into a full-length film. He stated that the producer liked the story and agreed to produce it. He described the film as a psychological thriller and explained that February 30 refers to an unexpected date. He added that the film has come out well and said audiences may like it when watched on the big screen.
Actor Abhishek Srikant said that February 30 is his first horror film and that he had not worked in the genre earlier. He said the story felt unique when it was narrated to him by the director. He also mentioned that the director faced some confusion during the audition process but that he eventually got the role. He thanked producer Joseph Baby for coming from another state and investing in the project, and said he learned a lot during the making of the film.
