The famous director and producer R Chandru announced a few days ago that he would produce five movies under his newly founded production company, RC Studios. The first film among them is “Father,” starring Prakash Rai and Darling Krishna in the lead roles.
The Muhurta ceremony of the film ‘Father’ was held in grand style at Bande Mahankali temple. Karunada Chakravarthy Sivarajkumar and Geetha Sivarajkumar were present at the film’s inauguration.
R Chandru is my dear friend. He loves cinema immensely. He initiated the film “Father” as the first project under RC Studios. Sivarajkumar wished Chandru and the entire film team all the best.
Shivanna and Geetha Sivarajkumar have been encouraging me since the beginning of my film ” Charminar.” Today, at the inauguration of our “Father” film, they have graced us with their presence. I thank them and all the dignitaries who have come. A few days ago, our RC Studios was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. I stated that I would produce five movies a year from this company. As the first step, the film “Father” has begun today. Raj Mohan, who co-directed Shivanna’s “Bhairagi,” is the director of this film. Darling Krishna plays the lead role, and Amrita Iyengar plays the female lead. Prakash Rai, Sunil, among others, are part of the star cast. Anand Pandit from Mumbai is presenting this film. Hari, known for his work in “Hanuman,” is composing the music.
This is a father-son bond film with a very compelling story. Director Raj Mohan mentioned that “Father” has all the elements that the viewers seek.
The story told by the director touched my heart deeply. Actor Darling Krishna expressed that this is his first film with R Chandru.
