Intelligent films are the call of the day. Young director Praveen CP has understood the need of the hour in his 101-minute film, Evidence. In addition, the director is clever in selecting a minimal number of artists. With Robo Ganesh as the culprit and Manasa Joshi conducting the interrogation, the film starts at a startling end. Praveena CP weaves a love triangle with a crime element, and the narration takes place in the interrogation room.

Dr. Kevin, played by Robo Ganesh, is interrogated by Priya Ramakrishna, played by Manasa Joshi. The interrogation begins with a double murder charge involving Swarup and Sanvi. The first half showcases the deceiving tactics applied by the intelligent Dr. Kevin. However, in the second half, the real colors of the doctor are exposed by the investigating officer. This turning point makes Evidence particularly interesting. The action, reaction, emotion, and dramatic twists propel the film to a startling end that must be seen in theaters.

Robo Ganesh is the mainstay of the film, yet his full talent is not utilized. Manasa Joshi looks fit for the role of the investigating officer. She plays the role of a special investigator who comes to investigate a suicide case and is seen in 360-degree shots. The story revolves around her. Actor Akarsh Aditya, as Swarup, has done a commendable job.

The songs in this thriller movie are a bit of a hardship. Of course, two of the songs are melodically good. “Ajarao Amaravo” is the best one. There are four songs in this movie, with music composed by Aaron Karthik Venkatesh. The background music is by C.J., dialogues by Chandrasekhara Prasad, cinematography by Ravi Suvarna, editing by Seshachal Kulkarni, choreography by Kariya Nanda and Raghu RJ, and stunt direction by Johnny Master.

Evidence is for thrill lovers on the silver screen. The film is produced by Dr. Kodlady Surendra Shetty, Srinivasa Prabhu K, Madesh Kodihalli, and Nataraj C. S. (Channasandra), and co-produced by Pradeep Aravind Kumar, Ravindra Rao (Doordarshan), Ramesh K, Prashanth CP, Narasimha Murthy (A.B. Kaval), and Kishore Babu.
