‘Evidence’ initiates with a unique concept by two characters, expanding its narrative to feature-length with the addition of more characters. Robo Ganesh portrays the antagonist while Manasa Joshi embodies the suspended investigating officer, crucial to the storyline. Director Praveen extends the duration to 140-plus minutes to accommodate these enhancements.

Praveena CP introduces a romantic subplot amidst the crime narrative within the interrogation room. The media launch of the film’s lyrical song, ‘Ayyayyo Are Manake,’ coincides with this narrative development.

Initially involving two producers for the first 50 minutes, ‘Evidence’ sees a shift as director Praveena’s vision evolves, necessitating the inclusion of additional producers. The film, now produced by Kodladi Surendra Shetty, Srinivas Prabhu K, K. Madesh (Kodihalli), Nataraj C.S. (Channasandra) under Sridhruti Productions and Roshira Productions, showcases Praveena’s dual role as writer and director. Praveena, a seasoned professional in the cinema industry, establishes an audio label for ‘Evidence.’

Producer Surendra Shetty, a renowned orthopedic practitioner running a Spine Care hospital near Vijayanagara toll gate, acknowledges the initial allure of the project’s dual roles and expresses confidence in its success despite escalating investments.

Fellow producer Ravindra Rao emphasizes the film’s compelling content, blending murder mystery with themes of excessive infatuation.

Manasa Joshi’s portrayal of a special investigator in ‘Evidence,’ captured through immersive 360-degree shots, serves as the focal point of the narrative. Her character’s pivotal role necessitates lengthy monologues, with Joshi delivering six pages of dialogue in a single 12-minute shot.

Actor Akarsh Aditya, known for his prolific work in television serials, reflects on his second film project alongside seasoned performers such as Karthik Varnekar, Renu Shikari, Pawan Suresh, and Shivakumar Aradhya. Additional supporting roles are portrayed by Rachita, Poojita Bobegowda, Chamakchandra, Shasidhara Kote, and Manmohan Rai.

The film’s diverse locales span Bengaluru, Mangalore, Chikkamagaluru, and Nelamangala outskirts, enriching its narrative of crime, suspense, thriller, and romantic entanglements.

Featuring four original songs, the musical score by Aaron Karthik Venkatesh complements the narrative’s emotional depth. Chandrasekhara Prasad handles dialogue, Ravi Suvarna oversees cinematography, and editing is managed by Seshachal Kulkarni, Kariya Nanda, and Raghu RJ. Choreography is executed by Johnny Master, while stunt direction is provided by the same.
