The teaser for Ekka, starring Yuva Rajkumar, was officially unveiled today, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. Originally slated for release yesterday, the teaser’s launch was postponed out of respect for those affected by the Pulwama terrorist attack.
The 1-minute-and-9-second teaser showcases Yuva Rajkumar in a striking look reminiscent of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar’s iconic role in Jackie. The title Ekka draws inspiration from the famous song Ekka Raja Rani. In the teaser, Yuva is seen wielding a sword and delivering a powerful dialogue, hinting at significant twists in the storyline and setting the stage for more action to come.
Directed by Rohith Padaki, Ekka features Yuva Rajkumar in the lead role, with Sampada and Sanjana Anand as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Atul Kulkarni, Deadly Aditya, and others. The music is composed by Charan Raj, while Satya Hegde handles cinematography and Deepu S Kumar takes care of the editing.
Ekka is produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G. Rao of KRG Studios, Jayanna and Bhogendra’s Jayanna Films, and Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar’s PRK Productions. The film is currently in production and is set to release on June 6th.
