The muhurta ceremony of “Directors Cut,” produced by Hemalatha B.S under the Rajeshwari Enterprise banner and directed by Bharat V.J, with Suraj Gowda—famed for “Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole”—playing the lead role, was held at the Vishwavidya Ganapati Temple in Kengeri. Many dignitaries and members of the film team were present at the ceremony. Later, the team members spoke about the film.

Under the production of our mother Hemalatha and my direction, we are making a film titled “Directors Cut.” Suraj Gowda plays the hero, while Radha S. Bhagi and Divya Jain play the heroines. Most of the film’s shooting will take place in Uttarakhand, known as Devabhumi. This is a story of a film within a film. The essence of the story is about what happens when a Kannada director goes to Uttarakhand for a film shoot. Suraj Gowda appears in the role of a director, Radha S. Bhagi plays a South Indian heroine, and Divya Jain portrays a North Indian heroine. P.D. Satish, Swathi and others are part of the cast.

The film has cinematography by Pramod Gowda and music by Kalyan Manjunath, with Pramod Joys working as the writer. Shooting will begin from the 25th of this month. After “Khela,” this is the second film I am directing, said director Bharat V.J.

As mentioned by the director, this is a story about a film within a film. I play the role of a director. The storyline revolves around what happens when a Kannada director goes to Uttarakhand for his film shoot. This year, three of my films will be released. I am also directing one of them, said hero Suraj Gowda.

Heroines Radha S. Bhagi and Divya Jain, along with other members of the film team, spoke about “Directors Cut.”
