The fantasy film Dinku, a talking doll story, is directed by Rajesh Murthy, who has previously helmed films in various genres, including Shadyantra and Red. He now brings this suspenseful, fantasy film to the screen, marking his tenth directorial venture.

Rajesh Murthy’s son, Yashaswa, plays the lead role in the film. Yashaswa also wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The doll in the film is named Dinku, and it talks. However, this is not a horror film. Along with suspense, the film also incorporates elements of comedy.

Dinku was shot around Bangalore, and the editing work has been completed, with dubbing in its final stages. H.M.K. Murthy, a senior Kannada producer and photographer, is the grandfather of Yashaswa, who had previously entered the film industry by acting in Agniloka. Dinku is his second film.
