In a packed Prasanna Theater, Sandalwood Salaga Vijay launched the trailer of ‘Dheera Bhagath Roy’, a film that explores themes of equality, justice, and truth. Vijay, captivated by the story, expressed his strong support for the project, which he feels resonates with his belief in justice and equality. ‘Dheera Bhagath Roy’ is directed by debutant Karnan, who also wrote the screenplay and story. The film introduces Rakesh Dalavai in the lead role, marking his Sandalwood debut, alongside new actress Sucharita. The talented supporting cast includes Sharath Lohithashwa, Neenasam Ashwath, Praveen Gowda H.C., Hariram, K.A.M. Sandesh, and Sudheer Kumar Muroli.
Produced under White Lotus Entertainment and Sri Om Cine Entertainers, the film boasts technical prowess with music by Poornachandra Tejaswi, cinematography by Selpham John, and editing by N.M. Vishwa. Set against the backdrop of the Land Reform Act, the ‘Dheera Bhagath Roy’ trailer introduces a complex narrative with four distinct dimensions, promising a thought-provoking film set to release this December.
At the event, Vijay Kumar expressed his deep appreciation for the film’s focus on equality, saying, “Stories about struggle and justice contain passion and fairness, qualities that drew me to this project.” Vijay sees ‘Dheera Bhagath Roy’ as a film that embodies truth and moral values, celebrating new talents while emphasizing the importance of justice.
He further stressed the significance of trusting the police, courts, and justice system to safeguard truth and integrity, adding, “Without these institutions, the situation in our country could deteriorate. Watching the trailer filled me with pride; films like this deserve success as justice and truth should always be accessible.”
Vijay also highlighted the challenges faced by new teams, noting that filmmaking feels like living several lifetimes.
