Devanobba Jadugara is set in a fictional town called Kashipura and centers on the life of a lorry driver named Deva. The film is a crime thriller and includes a transgender character. The story focuses on the influence of two key individuals on Deva and how those influences lead to changes in his life, culminating in his final outcome. The director stated that the title reflects the idea that every individual’s life is shaped by divine calculation.
The film was shot over a span of four years, with shooting schedules aligned with the availability of the lead actor and producer during their visits to India. Filming took place in Bengaluru, Tumakuru, and surrounding areas. Post-production is currently in its final stage, and the team plans to release the film soon.
Lead actor Sachin said he became friends with Varun through Facebook and supported him during his early phase as a filmmaker.
