In a significant development, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah formally appointed the renowned actor Daali Dhananjaya as the brand ambassador for Lidkar products. Expressing gratitude, the Chief Minister extended his thanks to the actor for accepting the invitation and gracing the government function.
The announcement ceremony took place on Wednesday morning in front of Vidhana Soudha, featuring the presence of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Minister HC Mahadevappa, and former minister Anjaneya.
Following the official declaration by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, a garland was placed on the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, alongside other ministers.
Lidkar, a Karnataka State-owned emporium, specializes in various arts and crafts produced by skilled labor. This marked the first time that the Dr Babu Jagajeevan Rao Charma Kaigarika Abhivruddi Nigama (LIDKAR) invited a celebrity to endorse their products.
LIDKAR, with its 50,000 employees, considers Daali Dhananjaya’s acceptance of the role as a brand ambassador a prestigious honor, as expressed by the managing director, K M S Vasundhara.
