Director Spencer Mathew said the film has a strong message. It should reach the people, so we thought of Ravichandran to convey the message, and all of us felt that there is no other person with such strength. It is a female lead movie, he said.

Dr. V Ravichandran played the role of a professor in ‘Tapassi’, which is based on true events, and Ammayra Goswami is the heroine. Vinaya Prasad, Prajwal, Sachin, Anusha Kini, and Bhaskar are in the star cast.

Viresh is holding the camera for the ‘Tapassi’ movie, Arun P. Thomas is the editor, music is handled by Arav Rishik. Spencer Mathew has directed and produced the film with R Gangadhar as executive producer. The shooting of the movie ‘Tapassi’ is going on in full swing around Bangalore.
